Affiliate Marketing Associate
Responsibilities:

• Implementation of affiliate support communication systems by email/phone
• Provision of basic product explanation to new Affiliates
• Provision of introductory training to new Affiliates
• Affiliate and Customer support and trouble-shooting
• Processing of enrollments
• Affiliate account maintenance and payment processing
• Soft collections and maintenance of Affiliate status
• Coordinate and compile MIS reports
• Outbound communication of special programs

Job Qualifications:

• BA/BS or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years previous work experience including 1 year of partner / customer relations experience (Internet experience ideal)
• Applications experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to understand contracts and implications for communications and opportunities with partners
• Affiliate account maintenance and payment processing
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and oral

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients to determine the best choice of keywords.
• Write page titles and enticing editorial descriptions.
• Develop high quality targeted textual content optimized for humans and search engines.
• Implement search engine friendly coding, optimize web site structure, textual content and internal linking structure to facilitate crawler-based search engine indexing.
• Develop and implement link popularity strategy to acquire inbound links from external web sites to improve link popularity.
• Monitor and maintain search engine rankings.
• Conduct search engine research and make recommendation for adapting to industry trends.

Requirements:

• 2 years prior experience in spider-based SEO at an online agency or similar position required.
• Must be able to demonstrate the achievement of top rankings for multiple websites on multiple search engines.
• Experience with keyword research and analysis, keyword selection and keyword selection tools,
• Ability to perform web site evaluations and implement search engine "friendly" site and linking structure.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in hand coding of HTML including JavaScript and CSS and methods of site optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, search engine spiders/crawlers, directory submission guidelines, search engine strategic alliances, partnerships and business models.
• Good copy writing skills and able to produce targeted textual content for search engine spiders.
• Experience with search engine positioning (e.g. WebPosition Gold) and web traffic analyzing tools (e.g. Webtrends).
• In-depth understanding of user search behaviors.
• Must be creative and comfortable learning and using new technologies.
• Excellent organizational and time keeping skills, able to work on multiple projects at one time.
• Strong experience in working in a team-based creative environment.
• Must be comfortable communicating with clients.
